Today is a time to remember those who have passed on to be with our Lord. A time to remember and honor those special people that made a difference in my life. They are as follows:
Ophelia, our maid/caretaker, I always wanted to go home with her because she was so much fun and I loved her.She was a great cook and played with me.
Mrs. Moore, my fourth grade teacher. She helped me cope with my life and being sick.
Grandparents, without them I would have not made it or be the person I am today.
Dr. St. Martin, my urologist all my young life. His kindness helped our family out so much.
Ben, my third step-father, he accepted me just the way I was and did not try to change me. I was a tomboy, while my sister was a girly girl. I love him for that! I spoke to him every week until he died a couple of years ago. He was my best friend and I miss him dearly. Without him, I would not understand about forgiveness of my mother. He was more of a father to me than my mother ever was a mother to me.
My husband's parents, showed me what family is all about and how a family functions and loves.
My mother, she taught me what I did not want to be. Although , she did have her moments.
