Our little paradise

This is our back yard, our little piece of paradise. The dogs, Suzy my lab and Hot Dog and I went on a trek to the back of the yard to a dry creek bed. Our property is mostly cleared except we have two uncleared acres to the left and it goes to the back to where the young pine trees grow. It is probably another two acres that has grown up. Suzy loves to jump and run through the woods. She is so swift that Hot Dog can not keep up with her.

I think we are going to really enjoy it here. It is so nice to have Hubs home every night for supper. I will have to take pictures of the rooms that I have organized, but I still have a lot of work left. I don't feel as much pressure on me as I did. I am so impatient that I create my own stress. One thing I forgot...I got old since our last move and I don't work as fast as I use to nor does my body recover as fast.

Relax a little! That's some good land you have there, it's good there's open space that isn't dense with tree's. My brother got property that was thick with tree's, what a pain because then you have to deal with poison oak and all that fun stuff

Muse, it still has a lot of trees. It was cleared by the previous owners. I will take the front yard pictures when it stops raining.

We are suppose to have some bad weather tomorrow night. I am a little scared because this is a mobile home. It is very nice and just one year old. We really bought the place for the land and it had the home on it. We may build later. Hope you don't get that bad weather.

Imerie, thanks for the comment and stopping by my blog. We still have a lot of work to do on the land. It is really peaceful. I am really deep in the country. I miss the grocery stores, and the conveinces of fast food. We live so far out that I have to re-think my shopping list. I usually buy more to avoid driving so far to the store.

Hey, did you get that warm weather I sent your way? I hope you did because it was just great!

Oh boy...That land is terrific..I would love to buy my neighbor's out and have more space to myself...I can sympathize with you about getting the house organized. I couldn't stand to have all the boxes, but I didn't have the energy that I had our last move 25 years previous...I had to take my time..

Michelle, I love your property with your beautiful pond. My Hubs does not want a pond. We are excited.

Your living where I would have loved to live when I was younger but my wife would have hated it.
I loved the pictures of your back yard.

Dr. John, why would Mrs. Betty have not liked living in the country? Is it because of the blistering, melting and humid weather in the summer?

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Queen Mimi! thank you for stopping by my blog. I have to find the new batteries so I can take more pictures. And to think of it, I need to buy a new camera really soon.
