The little deer family

Last year we first met these deer as new fawns

I am glad that we can provide a safe place for them for now.
This buck stays with his sister and her fawns.

Momma deer with her two fawns

They are getting braver each day

We have two families that come to dine. This doe has one fawn
If you click on the picture you can see her fawn in the background on the left.

This so reminds me of when I was growing up. We lived in the country and at dawn and dusk this was a familiar sight. Thanks for making me smile.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

You are so blessed to have these beautiful animals close by to watch and admire. The deer is my favorite animal, it is so graceful and beautiful.

Sweet Friend,

Oh thank you for sharing. We love our deer and they are so tame (nice and safe here too).

Have a wonderful day, and enjoy the "wild life" hahahahahaha (of course we meant wildlife. Giggle.

Wow Pam a new theme. It's really beautiful. I do have a problem reading the pink writing on that green back ground however. It's very light. Other than that well done my friend. I love those photos of the deer. They are so fascinating to see. Thanks for sharing :)

Sandee, I was always a city girl growing up, so I love the country with all of the animals. I shot a photo of a fox or coyote the other day down by where the deer feed. That scares me because a fox killed several of my chickens and a cat at our former home.

Big Ol' Texas HUGS back to you!

DeEtta, if I could only capture the photos as well as you do then I would be very happy. I like that we can provide a sanctuary for the deer. I will be posting hummingbirds next.

Joyce, and the bears, we are indeed blessed with the deer, but ours are not tame like yours. Very funny about the "wild life" remark.LOL! I might have spelled it that way?

Hugs back to you girls and of course Momma.

Akelamula, Don't you just love Nature and all that is provides. I can't wait until the leaves start turning.

Thom, I lost my old them and had to choose a new one. I can not find the source to change my print. If you know how, PLEASE tell me. Blogger has changed some things up and I don't see the right tool to make the changes. ARGH! I will be working on the color of the font. Hopefully it will get tweeked soon. Bug Hugs!

Lailani, when I am not blogging I am watching all the animals and birds on our land.I took a photo of a coyote the other day. He was where the deer feed. I hope he was just passing through.

I spoke to my folks this past weekend. They are happily re-settled in Arizona. But they do miss their little deer herd. They had four seasons of does and fawns during their five years in southwestern Washington.

Michelle, they are so beautiful.I can't imagine killing one of them.

Travis, how neat is that for your parents to have so many deer on their land.
