A day in the life

This week has been a total blurr to me because of all of the things that Sissy and I had to get done. It felt like a marathon in that we left early in the morning and came home at dark each day. Whew! Let me catch my breath.

Our errands went from A to Z with as much as we could cram in each day. Doctor's appointments, blood work, refills on her medicines, then a little shopping, grabbing a bite of our favorite mexican food, meeting with an old friend for lunch, going for as many Chiropractor adjustments as possible, add in a little more shopping, get her hair cut and colored to taking all three of the dogs to the vet at one time for their Parvo booster, worm check and heart worm medicine.

Sister was a little sad because she had to leave her dobie, Carmen, to have surgery for a mammory tumor and get her spayed. One is related to the other in the fact that a female dog not spayed has too much estrogen and other hormones and it causes tumors to grow in her breast. I will pick Carmen up tomorrow. She has to go back for more surgery in a few weeks. I am not sure why, but I will find out tomorrow.

Sister had to return home to keep her grandson. I will keep her dog until she can travel and then I will take Carmen to sister and visit her kids and those cute little grand kids.

We have probably driven 400 miles in three days.I had planned on having a very low keyed day with no stress and that is what I did today.

Well that is about it for me this week. I hope you had a wonderful week. I have to call my little grand daughter because she is sick with Scarlette Fever.

You have been a busy little beaver. I'll bet it was fun though. Scarlet fever isn't fun, hope she gets better soon.

Hi Miss Pam,

I am glad you and Sissy had together time.

We are all very concerned about Carmen, please keep us updated on her recovery. She is in our prayers.

We love the puppy dogs, and the kitties - and all of God's creations.

AND, WE LOVE YOU!

Hugs,
Prudence

Sandee, it never seems to end. Next week should be a little better.

Have a terrific weekend.

DeEtta, I like to be busy, but not to the point that I can't keep my house clean. Thank you for asking about Ali. I called her and she is still sick, but worried about her being well for her concert and her solo for the violin.

Akelamula, being sick is not like it use to be when my sons were little. The doctor just gives them antibiotic and says that after 24 hours they are not contagious. I raised my kids so different.

Prudence, I will pick up Carmen this morning. Thank you for the prayers for her. I hope she wasn't too scared.

Love you too,
Pam

Very busy week!

I had Scarlet fever about 10 years ago. I was really shocked, I didn't think people got that anymore!! So when I went to the ER (my temp was at 103 and I couldn't see) and was checked out, the doctor told mark and he thought the doctor must have failed school... lol... it was prety funny actually :)

If your granddaughter has a rash, be warned that it migh last awhile. I know I had to use an ointment for ten days, but it didn't clear right away... something about my skin type (prone to eczema) made it last longer.

I hope she gets to feeling better soon!

Gsail, I know Ali will be better soon. She had fever, sore throat and a rash. I hate that I live so far from her and all I can do is call her.

I think we are getting some of that cold weather on Sunday, but not as cold as what you will get.

Love to you and yours.
Pam

Xmichra, I didn't know that you could get Scarlett Fever as an adult. That sounds just awful.

Once I got Scarletina when our son was sick and I had a rash all over me even my palms. As I recall, I was pretty sick.

Ali has all the symptoms you mentioned. She is very fair, so I ask her mommy if she was itching and she said no, not yet.

THanks for stopping by and commenting today. Have a great weekend.

Oh, goodness you've had a busy week and lots of driving. Hope your granddaughter gets better. I didn't realize scarlet fever was still around these days. My sister had that badly when she was a small girl.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and comment on my blog, so glad we're blogging friends.

JBR, I really don't like to be on the road so much, but we had to get all of it done.

I have to travel more because of where we live(deep in the country). Next week will be better at least I hope.

Hugs to you,
Pam

Crochet Lady, My DIL said this was the second time in three years that Ali has had Scarlet Fever.

I am glad that we are blogging buddies, too. I am always happy to lift up my friends.
