I'm never really alone

Bruno, my silly cat, thinks he is helping me. Right, Bruno? Cat you know I love you?

You know my motto about being sick. It takes three days to get, three days to have it and three days to get over. That is just what I've been doing. I got sick Thanksgiving night with what I thought was allergies. Then the sore throat, stuffy head and drip, drip, drip down the back of my throat. I hate being sick. I took it easy on Friday, Sat, Sunday and even Monday or at least until the sore throat went away. I started back to exercise on Wed. It wasn't too bad, but the next day I think I was worse.

Trust me on this...

Don't take the one on the left.

Coughing and coughing and I couldn't sleep with all of that coughing. Friday I buy some diabetic tussin which is sugar free and alcohol free and a bottle of Delsym night time relief, which my wonderful SIL recommended.

A word of warning...never take the Diabetic Tussin because that stuff was the nastiest stuff I have ever taken. It took my breath away. It reminded me of the medicine my grandmother use to give us as children. I'm not sure why it tasted so strong or bad.

Thankfully, I had purchased Delsym, too.
If I'm not completely well, I have a well check with my family doctor on Tuesday.

Hi Miss Pam,

YUCK - medicine. Hot tea and honey is what I recommend. Maybe gargle with warm salt water.

Please get better, I get upset when I hear that you are not feeling well.

We love, LOVE Bruno.

Heaps of Hugs

Prudence, you are so kind to me. I am feeling better, but still coughing. Bruno loves you too.

Hugs back to you and your sweet family.

Sarah, that is sweet of you to not want me to be sick. I'm thankful that I am not in pain. I am on the mend.

Love you, Sarah.

I don't know what's worse...not being able to swallow easily because of a sore throat, or not being able to breathe easily because of a stuffy nose.

My remedy of choice has always been Nyquil. It relieves the stuffy nose so I can sleep.

Gail, thank you for the good healing thoughts. Love and Peace to you.

Travis, I've not tried Nyquil. For me it is the worst when I can't breath through my noise. I have sleep apnea. Sorta of makes it hard to use.

I can't take any of those liquid medicines. Mucinex seems to help.

Bruno looks to be wanting to help, too.

I just came down with a cold today so thanks for the warning about what not to take.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} and good vibes for "Get Better Quick".

Take care of your sweet self.

Sandie, I'm with you about being sick, but this time I have admitted to myself that I just need to take good care of myself even if it means missing exercise.

Big Ole Texas Hugs back to you.

Rudee, So far, I've been taking generic Musinex, not the DM and this cough syrup, plus another decongestant.

Bruno is always helping. LOL!

DeEtta, thank you for the well wishes. I just happen to have an aversion to bad tasting medicine. LOL! Looks like I will be seeing my doctor tomorrow and I will ask him about this.

Love ya,friend.

hoping you are all better now, Pam...yes, that crap on the right is awful...nothing as good as Vicks 44D...plus you sleep well, lol! Mama always said to take one cup of salt water, six ounces of whiskey and place in separate tumblers, take the salt water and pour it down the drain and then drink the whiskey...right as rain...Mama never gave bad advice lol!
hugs
