What a great day at garden club

I had a great time at our joint garden club meeting.  I changed up the flower arrangement and placed the egg  basket in the larger basket, moved the bow around and finally came up with a look I liked. The pink hydrangea was a huge success.  Everyone loved it. They still remember my flower shop and knew I had arranged it.  That was a lovely feeling.

Being away for five years, I forgot a few names, but remembered faces.  Afterwards, we went to a local eatery for lunch.  We saw a friend that moved away and she and her besty ate lunch with us.  We went by my former church and saw my other best friend.  This day will stay in my heart for a long time. We went to another larger town and looked for plants for my friend.

But the nicest part of the day was when I returned home.  Hubs had planted all the new plants that we bought, washed clothes and even unloaded the dishwasher and did the dishes. He said he didn't want me to have to do them after having such a nice day.  He knew I haven't been feeling well all this week and wanted to help.  Hubs cooked supper that night, too.  Add the beautiful sunshine and blue skies, the day was perfect. Have a great weekend.

What a special day! Give your hubby a Yankee dime for all that sweetness. (A peck on the cheek...a little kiss!) Hugs!

Am new here. This brief post truly warmed my heart. Your hubs reminds me very much of my own. Didn't want to leave without giving a response to your post.
