Spring has sprung

Not much going on here.  We had a lot of rain and flooding in Shreveport, La. and parts of east Texas where I live.  The rain did a lot of damage. Almost a year ago, they had an over flowing Red River in Shreveport that resulted in months of floods and clean up.   Our youngest son is a fireman/EMT with south Bossier parish in La.  Everyone worked for days and days to rescue and evacuate people.  They were up to their necks in water.  So thankful for the first responders. On a good note, the rain has helped my flowers to bloom.

The pond is really full

Purple magnolia and in the background you can see the dogwood starting to bloom

New flower bed Hubs has planted.  Not finished yet. The front has blue bonnet plant which will bloom in Spring.  I planted mixed color tulips. More later when the roses are blooming.  Hope you have a wonderful Spring.

I always enjoy visiting here when you post. You live in such a lovely area. The views are fabulous.

Yes a huge THANK YOU to all our first responders. Many are not appreciated as much as they should be and especially cops.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. ♥♥♥

Hi Miss Pam,

So bee-u-tee-ful. Our daffodils have just bloomed but nothing else, well our baby Pussy Willow is so pretty right now.

I am sure happy to see spring, had enough of the cold and snow. Your flower gardens are beautiful as always.

Gail, thank you for the sweet comments. I hope you are doing good. Peace and love. Pam

Sandee, I am kind of of late in posting your reply. Happy Hug to you and yes police and all law enforcement need everyone's support.

Prudence, tell your mommy hello for me. I hope all you bears are warm and snuggly.

DeEtta, I know I could not take the cold temperatures of where you live, but it is so beautiful in the Spring and summer there. I hope you have been good. Love, Pam

Duta, thank you for stopping by my blog. Nice to meet you. Thanks for the blessing for my son.

Hi Chickie Pea. Welcome to my blog. It may take a while for the new flower bed to grow. The first year they sleep, the second year they creep and the third year they leap. If they are not growing well by then I move them to another place.

We've had three solid months of rain just about every day. I'm not in a flood or mudslide area, but I have friends who could be impacted. The rain makes for a lot of wonderful green and the flowers will be spectacular, but I've had more than enough of it.

Hey Travis, I know what you mean about having enough rain. I feel that way too. It is difficult to see all the damage the floods have caused. It is good to hear from you.
