Christians are such stinkers

Well out with the old and in with the new. I am talking about our preacher. He has been at our Church for two years and those in power have finally got their way and have fired him. It amazes me how Christians do unthinkable things in the name of God. Wait a minute, I thought God was the only one in control? Where do these holier than thou Christians get off deciding for the rest of us about our pastor. It is all about politics, yes, even in church, especially in our church.

It starts with a few disgruntled do gooders (Christians) that don't get their way. Then comes the conflict with said preacher, then holding grudges, retaliation, gossip, withholding tithes and both parities behaving as unchristian as the can possible behave. It has been going on since our pastor came. I am sick to death of all this crap... Grow up you big babies! Are we Christians that follow JC or our own agenda? And don't get me started on the Christians that left our church bc of said pastor and will only come back to our church when said pastor is gone for good.

Yes there were some legit complaints about the new guy, but all in all, look at what good he has done for our church. Oh no, forgive and forget? I don't think so. They will be talking about this for years to come. All I can say for the new preacher is watch out! Good luck with the Christians.

I may not continue this post...I have to think about it a little more bc I am too disgusted right now. OK, I have composed myself briefly that is, and maybe I can finish this post. Our pastor before this pastor was awesome and adored by all. He stayed eight years, loved us even with all our warts, and was a pastor to the people. So enter new pastor, well no one would give him a chance bc of former pastor. Former pastor was an extrovert, new pastor is an introvert? JC himself would not have succeeded bc we worship a pastor not JC.

My point is this... a pastor does not make the church, or own the church. The church belongs to the people, but first and foremost we are followers of the Man, JC and our attitude should reflect this! That's all I have to say. As for me, I made a vow to JC and I will support the new guy when he arrives. Hope he knows what a bunch of pastor killing mongers we are.
