Dona Nobis Pacem

I guess it is just human nature to not get along, but for a minute or two imagine a world where we did get along. What would that world look like? Peace requires love and in order to love, we must place others above our own needs first. I can imagine a world where we all care about one another. A world where love goes the distance to overcome all that is needed to have peace on earth.

Can love conquer all? Do we all love the same? And does love mean the same thing to other people? First, I would have to describe love because it can mean different things to different people. My definition of love would be as follows. Love knows no boundaries, no color, no nationality, no race, no gender. Love is unconditional without any strings attached and without expecting any thing in return. Love is given freely and cost nothing to give. Love is kind, uplifting and generous. Love is patient, tolerant, healing. Love is compassionate. And most importantly, Jesus commands us to love one another.

It is so simple. Put others needs above your own. May today you think in terms of ways to be more tolerant towards one another. Love is all we have and one person can make a difference.
PEACE is the movement, but love is the way.

Love and peace to you and yours. You're very right --hate is easy, love takes courage. Sometimes I think all the pundits in this world have taken the easy way out!

You wrote about my Peace Globe that it spoke to your "inner hippie." Your globe spoke to mine!

Blessings and peace, Pam!
