What can I say after yesterday?

Yesterday was awesome! It was my first time to blog for peace and something that I will always remember. If Mimi keeps going this fast and far, who knows what she can accomplish? I would encourage everyone to participate in the next blog for peace. It felt great to be even a small part of this community. One voice, one desire, and peace for everyone.

This gave me just a small glimpse into so many other people's lives. We are only as strong as our weakest link and I did not see any weak links. We are all people of the human race and all desire for the same thing, peace. Yet, in order to attain peace. It has to start some where.

On Nov.6, 2008, a candle for peace continued to once again flicker around the world. "All we are saying is give peace a chance." What have you got to loose? I was amazed how much we are all alike in our desire for peace. I believe we are more alike than not. It starts with me and what I can do in my small community and in my own backyard.

I saw your comment on "Writing from the Inside out" about high school. I think I am quite like you. I went to a school with 2000 and I was quite shy and had to learn to speak up. I was a clarinet toting band geek..I was in marching band, symphonic band, concert band and orchestra....I also wanted to play the rest of my life. That only lasted about 2 years after I graduated....I haven't touched my clarinet since and I sometimes worry I won't be able to play it if I were to try. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I was like you in high school.
