Remission...finally

I had the best news today from my Rheumatologist. My rheumatoid arthritis is currently in remission. I am so excited because I have been fighting this for a very long time and never thought I would see this day. He has even cut out some of the meds that make me so sick.

He ask me what I thought was the reason for this remission? Was it the medicines?" No." I told him, "I thought it was because of the acupuncture treatments I have been getting." He said my bone scan was also great and that I had the hips of a thirty year old. Ha! Ha! So I am doing the happy dance tonight and I am so very thankful. This is an answer to my prayers.

That is wonderful! I just had a friend who has been diagnosed with RA @ 23 years old. I'll have to tell her about your success story. :)

Raven, I hesitate to tell people because you know how things can turn so fast. Just keep me in your prayers as I do you.
