PROM 2009

I survived making prom wristlets, but just barely! My hands hurt so much that I can't use them. I thought I would write this post to say hello and let you know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth, yet.

Here is my question for the day. Should guys bouts have bows and poufs on them? This has been a problem for me for a long time. I personally do not like to do this because it looks like a woman's corsage, but here in east Texas, it would seem they do not know any better. So if you have any opinions about this please leave me a comment. It took me years to educate the young people at my flower shop, but alas they did come around. So now I am facing the same dilemma. I feel like I am in a time warp...

hmmmm, I never knew that the guys would have bows and poufs - I think that is too frilly for a guy, so I am with you on this!

They should NOT have poofs or bows.

I suddenly got a bit sad thinking of my son missing is senior prom this year...oh well that's what happens when you get your @ss explelled from school. At least he got to go last year.

I am sorry to hear about your hands Pam. Take care of yourself...That RA must be terrible so take it easy on yourself. As a man I think bows and poufs (whatever that is LOL) shouldn't be there. It's too womanish if you ask me. The flower is good enough. Have a great week and promise to take it easy :) Aloha my friend :)

No bows and poufs here. Get those hands feeling better.

Ouch!! (about your hands)

Bows and poufs? Wa? Why would the guys do that? (uh, I guess they could if they really felt like it but I think that it detracts from a guy)

Thank you all for your comments about the bouts. I don't know why these people think guys would want to wear a corsage! LOL!

I appreciate the well wishes for my poor hands. You are great.

sorry to hear about your hands Pam, I know what it's like to have painful hands. :(

I think a simple flower in the buttonhole is more than enough for a man.

I would think no.

If the customer wants bows and poofs then that's what the customer should have.
