Just a quick note

I am sorry that I have not posted very much lately, but I have had this pain in my lower left side for about a month now and finally went to the doctor this week. I have also been very busy with Christmas flower arrangements. I feel just bad enough to feel sorry for my self. Ugh!
It turns out that I have diverticulitis. The treatment is two different antibiotics that gives my stomach a fit. I am taking a probiotic to help my poor stomach, but alas not much has helped it. I don't feel like eating, but you have to take the meds on a full stomach, hence the problem.

I have four more days of the medicines and I hope to be better.
On a brighter note, our youngest son, Hunter, got hired as a firefighter. He has been a volunteer firefighter for a couple of years now. We are so happy to see his dream come true. It is his true passion in life. He is working for one of the largest fire deptartments in the parrish of La.
He can afford to finish school at a later date and he will have insurance. This is a huge blessing for him and we are so happy for him.

I hope you feel better soon Pam. Being sick at this time of the year really sucks.

Way to go for your son. How wonderful. I'm sure he's on cloud nine and will remain there for some time.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)

Oh no. I hope your feeling better and that the meds work. I have a mild case of that and have had to take antibiotics as well. I thought it was a kidney stone at first. Don't eat peanuts or tomatoes ... those pesky little seeds...Congrats to your son. That is excellent news :)

Hi Pam-

I hope you feel better soon. And as crazy as this sounds, try not to stress because stress makes that condition worse.
Good news about your son.

Merry Christmas.......

Love Gail

I can relate with how you are feeling as I have the same problem and just finished my round of antibiotics. I think I felt worse while taking them. They do work and you will feel much better in four days.

Congratulations to you son.

Wonderful news about Hunter! Not so great news about you :(

Take care of yourself, Pam!! I know a few people with diverticulitis and once you have it under control you will be okay IF you follow the doctors orders (I bet he gave you a list of foods to avoid....)

Hugs!
