Thom, many thanks for the comment. I looked long and hard for a picture that spoke to me.
We are staying home and will BBQ.
Happy 4th again, my friend. I just bought two new flags to put outside.

Peace and blessings to you.

Elizabeth, Happy Fourth of July to you as well. Many thanks for stopping by and leaving a commented. Which blog is the main one to read? You are very talented to have written so many books.

The one I keep most current is Blest Atheist. (It also connects to the others.)

We are having beautiful 4th weather. Hope you are, too!

As for talent -- as Edison, and Faulkner citing him, said -- it is mostly perspiration with a touch of inspiration. For the latter, I really on Divine Providence these days.

Michelle, they plan on flooding farmers fields north of the marshes to attempt to fool the migratory birds into stopping there in stead of the wetlands. I hope it works. They need a break.

DeEtta, thank you so much. Hubs BBQ and it was too hot to do much of anything else. I hope yours was grand.

Sarah, thanks for stopping and commenting on my blog. Hope you had a great Fourth.
