Our son

On Saturday, our youngest son will graduate from the Fire Academy. We are so proud of him. He has worked very hard to complete his training and education. I know he will be a great fireman. He is a wonderful young man.

Our oldest son and his daughter are coming down from Colorado to see him graduate. It will be so nice to have both of our sons together again. I look forward to Saturday. I will post photos later.

It is all about family and I will cherish these moments forever. I am grateful.

Miss Pam,

We are so excited for you (Mom too, of course). We can't wait to see pictures.

Have a wonderful weekend and tuck every precious moment into a special place in your heart. That's what Sister and I do. Oh wait - heart? no into our "fiberfill". Giggle, giggle.

Hugs from ALL of us.

I know how difficult it is to go though training to be a fireman/woman. Very physically demanding too. What a wonderful accomplishment. You have every right to be proud. I'll await the pictures too. Enjoy your sons and granddaughter.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

Prudence and Sister,Thank you for your well wishes. It will be such a wonderful day to have family together and to be witness to our son's graduation.

Thanks for stopping by and I bet your mommie put a heart in you girls because you are so sweet. If not I know she put lots of love into making you.

Even Build a Bears have hearts. You might want to have that talk with MOm.

Sandee,Thank you so much for the congratulations. Yes, we are so grateful and proud of him.

DeEtta, You described me to a tee. It is so hard when your children grow up, but I am glad that they have accomplished so much. Our sons are both good men.

Michelle, Hunter was a volunteer for three years before he went to the Fire Academy. I would rather him be a fireman than a policeman. Being a policeman seems so much more dangerous. Thank you for the kind thoughts and that is neat that your husband is a volunteer fire fighter.

Dawn, I just found out this morning that Hunter passed his EMT test on the first try. He is my son with Tourette's so I am extra proud of him.

Lily, thank you for your comments. I don't worry about his safety. The parrish he works is one of the best trained and largest one in La. I am looking forward to seeing our sons together.

Dear friends, yet another reason to love blogville because where else can I share such good news and get so many wonderful comments.

You are all the best. Thanks for sharing my joy with me.

Awesome!

My dad was a fireman and my oldest brother just retired from the same profession.

They both loved it.

Congrats to your son.

Jeff B. the nicest folks are fire fighters and they have a good public personna.

I am wondering why you didn't follow in your Dad and Brother's footsteps? You must be so proud of them both. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a nice comment.
