Our pond will be just perfect in about three years.
I am so looking forward to that day

See the bumble bee?
See the bumble bee?
This sun flower is waving to you
But I like them a lot.
I ask Hubs to drive for me so I can take some pictures of the back of our land. Luckily, the sunflowers have started to bloom. I wanted you to see how full our pond is getting and see my dog, Suzie swimming. I know...it's small things, but that is what I like.

I hope I am around to see your perfect pond in three years. Can't wait.
Love the Sunflowers. Ours aren't in bloom yet so I will enjoy yours for now. I love this Helen Keller quote about sunflowers "Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It's what sunflowers do."
I see that bubble bee coming in for a landing. Excellent shot. Great pictures dear one. Blessings.
Good Morning Pam,
Oh, I LOVE Suzie - what a precious puppy dog. And YES, the simple things are the true treasures, the blessings. I love sunflowers and thank you for sharing. The pond is wonderful. Three years isn't a very long time - and you will enjoy watching it mature.
Hugs,
Joyce
Prudence & Sister are still sleeping - thank goodness. (o:
I am counting on you being here to see my pond and me fishing in it.
Your sunflowers were so beautiful last year. I forgot about that incredible quote from Helen Keller. I wish I had added that to the post. I am thankful that you did in your comment.
When will your sunflowers bloom?
Can't wait to see them.
Love ya,
Pam
JBR, I couldn't believe I caught the bee in the shot. I had to stand tall in the rhino to get that shot.Thank you so much for the comment. Love to you.
Joyce, I love my dog. She is so funny and all of our pets keep us entertained. Hubs still has a lot of work to do at the pond. We need a bunch of square hay bailes to line the rim of the pond. I am blessed to see it all unfold before my eyes.
Have a great day. Are those sisters still in trouble? I hope not 'cause they are so cute.
HI PAM-
I love your pond and back yard - we have a pond too, out front, and our dog Gracey loves to swim in it. :-)And the sun flowers? So beautiful and they have such special meaning - they are/were my sister's son, who died, favorite flower. I give her sunflowers every Mother's Day. Thank you for the shred joy. I need it as I am nursing an inflamed knee which is very painful. OUCH!!!!
Love to you
Gail
peace......
Gail, I can't imagine loosing a child. You are a good sister to give her sunflowers on Mother's day.
How did you hurt your knee? I hurt mine in early March and it is finally better. I hope yours heals soon. Lots of rest, ice, heat and what ever else it takes to heal.
Sunflowers are so cheerful.
I love your pond, Pam.
Rudee, it rained and the pond is filling up ever so slowly. In a bit the dirt will settle. We have some great plans for that area, but it just takes time. I would like to put a picnic table down there.
Suzie sure looks like she's enjoying herself. My folks had a golden lab/retriever mix...couldn't keep that boy out of water if he got close.
Have a great week!
Travis, this is the first lab that we have had that liked the water. Suzie is such an amazing dog. She was a rescue dog that had been abused. She has come so far.
Great week to you as well.
The sunflowers are gorgeous Pam!
And the pond is coming along great.
I like your backyard!
The puppy is having so much fun and the bumble bee with the sunflower is spectacular.
Nessa, the nice thing about labs is they never grow up. Suzie is about 4 years old and she never tires of playing and swimming. She has been so good for us. We love her bunches.
Suzie looks so much like our Robbie except for the gender!! Robbie is 10 years old young! There's a couple of posts on him.
Keats, the Sunshine Girl, Your Robbie does look like my Suzie. He is a fine looking dog. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
I enjoyed reading your blog. Excellant writing and beautiful photos.
LOVE your pond and your beautiful sunflowers. I have to find a place for some..I love them...
Michelle, we have a long way to go before the pond will be really good. For now, Suzie loves it and that means a lot.
