Ali and her Dad

You can see that Autumn has not fully arrived in east Texas. This is the first real sign of turning leaves. Some of the trees turned, but not in color. The leaves are brown from the lack of water and the super hot temps.

Bj finally took all of the stuff I have wanted to give them. I gave my DIL my Christmas dishes and some crystal that I am not using. Ali and her Dad are lovers of stuff. It amazes me what they like. Ali took some things that belonged to her Dad as a kid. His old lunch box, a conch shell that belonged to his grandmother, old books, her Dad's high school letter jacket.

They filled up their trailer that they left here last April when they moved to Alabama. I passed along some of his Christmas ornaments and an hand made Nativity set, old record albums, and a lawn set.
It is nice to have the closet almost empty. I keep very little of my own stuff cause I don't like clutter. Now I will finish working on the rest of the closets. If I could just get our youngest son, Hunter, to take his stuff. Maybe in a few years. Ha. Ha.

I discovered that Ali and I like to draw. I told her that when she comes to visit next summer that we will take some classes. She also wants to learn how to sew. There's not much to do in the country, but I think we'll manage.

My little grand daughter, Ali and her Dad came to see us this past weekend.

It was nice to visit with them. I missed seeing my DIL and the boys.

Maybe, at Thanksgiving I will see them.

Looks like you had a nice visit! You look very happy :)

I dislike clutter, and every few months I go through purge-a-polosa. It's probably not healthy at all... lol... I know I get quite nuts about it. But It freaks me out when I see stuff all over the place. Then I watch a show of hoarders and my skin crawls - and I go into hyper clean mode.

Like I said, it's likely a dysfunction of some sort!! lol... but at least my home is easy to clean comparitively!

I am with you on watching the Hoarders show. It creeps me out to watch it. I think we fall more in line with OCD. LOL!

I probably go nuts over stuff because my sister is a hoarder. It paralyzes me to be around all of that stuff.

I suffer from this, but I won't get rid of stuff until our sons say they don't want it or need it.

Have a wonderfu day and I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving.

I think I have Gater envy. Granddaughter envy, too. She's beautiful, and so by the way, are you.

Pam,
I loved the photos of you.The trees are beginning to turn here and are pretty . My heart breaks for the drought in Texas.I pray for rain for the state.
I am glad to have found your blog.I am glad to know the name of the music played first on your blog. I have wondered for over a year if it had a name.

Yolanda, thank you for the nice comment. Keep praying for rain for Texas. Our area is about 18 " down for the year and then we had to fight all of those terrible forrest fires.

I'm glad that you like my music. I change it every now and then. You are welcome to add any music you find here to your playlist.
