Oh my goodness! Hubs and I had so much fun yesterday. Our little ducks had their first outing. They were not too sure of what was going down. I walked in front of them calling them to follow me. Looks like I am the official duck moma. Hubs followed behind them to keep them going. One little duck has a gimp foot, so he carried him back. Mallards will be here soon.

I can tell you are going to enjoy your ducks. Reminds me of the movie "Fly Away Home". It's going to be a fun summer.
ahhh, lovely! Reminds me of the one classroom I had-the window overloked a garden area and every spring a mother duck would build her next and my kids and I were treated to the birth of her ducklings every year...it was so much fun! But also sad when they left...
Oh, how precious is this post. PRECIOUS. Okay, so you are Duck Mom and hubby is Duck Dad, what a wonder role...
Is baby okay with the little gimpy foot?
Hugs
Awww...how adorable. Ducks are so fun to watch and baby ducks even more.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)
You can play, Duck, Duck, Goose for real now!
Adorable!
I'll have to scroll back over old posts to read more about these pet ducks.
Aw they're so sweet!
omg Pam. This sooo cute. I needed something light and fun this morning. Thanks for posting this.
There was this *one* time that I wasn't terrified of a bird, and it was from a little duck that flew into our balcony window and hurt itself. We didn't know what to do, so we kept a little bath on the deck and bought some bird feeding supplies from the pet/vet store. It did well after a few weeks and flew away one day - and that was the only bird i've gone within an legs distance from on purpose. They just freak me out! But these ducks look pretty content :)
The ducks look like so much fun! Makes me want to go see the ducks on our ponds.
