My sweet friend Anna and her little girl

This week hasn't been so good.  My sister has fallen three times.  The last fall was in the tub.  I think she saw stars. She was too sick to drive herself to the doctor.  Her son moved her in with them  until she feels better.  She has had a hard tim of it lately. I am out of ideas to help her.  Once again, she has to want to help herself.  She can not stay by herself because she can not take care of herself.  This is going to be a journey.

Yesterday, I get a email from one of my blog friends, Anna.  She lives in Florida, but is in east Texas right now.  We met for lunch at a nearby town.  I have seen her three times now.  I really enjoy talking with her.  She is very cool.  Her baby is seven months old and is a doll.  She is laid back like her parents.  She is a real joy to watch and I'm sure a joy to love.

 Anna and Sunny

After lunch, the hostess took a group picture.

Anna is so very beautiful.  Sunny has the bluest eyes.

Anna made my day fantastic.  Here at the Tannehill house hold, everyday is the same old thing.  Same old chores, same old wash, cleaning, cooking and you get the rest of the story.  We rarely even go out.  One reason is we live so far out in the country and the second reason is Hubs doesn't like to eat out. I would like to thank Anna for calling me to meet for lunch.  She has a great blog about her life and the kids.  She is a real mom and a very good role model for her kids.  She is a very caring and loving mom.

Here is her blog   www.skitteringthoughts.com

I'm sorry about your sister. It must be frustrating trying to figure out what to do. Some folks you just can't help honey.

I'm glad you had a great visit with Anna. How cool. And the little one is a cutie pie times two.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

Oh how fun your meeting sounds. Sunny is just beautiful!

Sorry to hear about your sister. Sounds like she may need either adult foster care or assisted living soon.

Pam, that is phenomenal that you were able to get out and enjoy friendship...I'm glad that she is there for you! Prayers for you and I totally agree...she has to WANT to help herself; no one can do it for her! but it's hard to watch, I know.

Sandee, thank you for always listening. I really appreciate
your support and comments.
You know I will always be there for my sister.

Rudee, Sunny is so cute and is a sweet baby. Sister will be there sooner than we think. Unless her son and his family take her in. I don't think it is fair for them or my sister. What is adult foster care?

Tracy, I like to meet up with bloggy friends. Anna is so funny. My sister and I had a horrible abusive childhood. Candy was the oldest and she remembers more than I did. As for me I found food at an early age to stuff down those emotions. I've been working on it in therapy for a couple of years.
