We're Havin a Heat Wave

We have relief from this scorching 100 degrees plus burning heat. I was to the point of losing it because it has been so HOT, and I don't mean in a good way! Cabin fever had set in and I was feeling trapped most of the day. I am an outside girl and I would rather be outside than inside any day. The heat put me in a terrible mood. It is so hard to water your plants and garden when it is this HOT. It is so oppressive to work in the yard, mow, or even walk when it is this HOT. Finally a little relief.

A little bit of rain has come our way. It is not even enough to measure, but I am grateful for it has been overcast and the temperature has dropped for the last two days. Ahh, a little reprieve from this excessive, sweltering heat.
So for this moment, I am in a happy place with a gentle rain and my heat index is medium. It's going to be great cool day.
I am thankful.

Always nice to get relief from the heat. Even a few degrees is a blessing and feels so good. We have had an unusually cool spring/summer but we are supposed to heat up this week. I think I will get the lawn mowed today before the heat gets too bad.

We had scorching weather for the last two weeks. It's cooler now and we've had some rain. I do like it hot though. :)

I don't deal well with humidity... it makes me so cranky and saps all my energy... :(

Glad you got a little reprieve!

I am with you Pam! The heat of the past several weeks has been miserable. I am enjoying the slight break in the heat! Enjoy and hope you get to play some outside.

Our entire weekend was cool to cold. We were wearing sweats and the like. We just kept saying it must be global warming. Bwahahahaha.

Have a great day. :)

Our heat wave ended and nice summer temperatures were the norm for last week end.

Our pleasant weather will come to an end this weekend, then back to 100 degrees. Ugh!

Thanks to all of you that left comments. I appreciate it.

I am sorry for anyone that has to endure this awful heat.

Rain usually makes me crabbier than heat, but our heat isn't so bad here. (Most of the time.) I get cranky when there is more rain which means the heat is accompanied by humidity.

Happy Blogiversary!

I want to live where you live. 68degrees! Only thing is that I could not take the long cold winters.

We are in for another seven days of 100+ degrees weather. Ugh...
No sight of rain, but the good news is that it will be cool maybe in October. Ha!
