We met at this huge store called Ellis Pottery. I worked there many years ago after selling my flower shop. It is so beautifully styled and all the merchandise is so pretty. As a designer, I haven't been inspired by many new ideas in a few years. Some years there is nothing new out there.
One of the newest trends down here in east Texas is the use of succulents. You can use silk or fresh. Silk arrangements are not as popular as they once were. People want fresh plants in their homes to help clean the air in the home with. I'm doing my best to keep my real plants alive, but I may have to buy some new ones.
So here is a picture of one look I arranged, and here is the second choice. Which one do you like the best. Hubs likes the scond one with the pink hydrangea. I think that's my choice as well. I finished except for filling in with some moss.

I agree with your hubby. That pink just pops out at you.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs. ☺
Sandee, thanks for your imput. I was afraid the hydrangea took over the basket. You are right about the pink popping out.
I like the second as well. I'm partial to anything pink for spring.
Thanks DeEtta. What I didn't say in this post was our president of garden club called and suggested I do St. Parick's Day theme. I couldn't go there because I'm so ready for Spring.
Hi Miss Pam,
We love the second one, the "spray" of eggs is unique, and the first one is lovely too, but I am not a "pink" bear, it's just part of being Prudence Clearwater. Giggle.
You can send them both, you have my address, yes? Giggle.
Hi - both are lovely but I like the first one better - has a nice flow and feel and arrangement.
Love Gail
peace.. and Happy Spring
Prudence, thank you for your thoughts on the subject. I can't send you the flowers, but I can send you lots of hugs.
Gail, I appreciate you input into my design. Love, Pam
They're both beautiful but I like the second one best. :)
They are both beautiful! I like the little wire basket best but the hydrangeas are my favorite flower!
Both arrangements are good, but the hydrangea is a good focal point so that would be my first choice.
